Just wanted to blog about some things that are on my mind. Nothing profound or insightful here or particularly technical.
So here's my list:
- merb - Is a really cool framework. It's still rough around the edges and lacks all the comfy usability aspects of Rails that have been built up over the years, but I really like merb; merb is where its at.
- Shoes - Why the lucky stiff is a bit crazy, however his Nobody Knows Shoes short book is actually informative; and because it is so zany, it gives the brain something to associate with the material.
- Morfik - gets its pricing right. Finally. Too bad I can't actually link to the internal page because morfik is so ajaxy...
- RubyScript2Exe - looks to be an interesting project. It also uses Free Pascal for its packing/unpacking tool. Cool.
- Windows Mobile sucks. I don't care what anyone else says, I think it sucks.
- Software Activation sucks too.
- Single Platform software is a dinosaur. Delphi needs to have a serious cross platform strategy. Certainly before 2008.
- Apple MacBook will be my next computer.
- My Dentist is awesome.
