Ahh yes, writing blog entries...for whatever reason writing blog entries takes time I don't have. But here are a few things going through my mind right now.

2008 was a busy year. I haven't blogged in a while, but I thought I would share a few thoughts about what I'm looking forward to in 2009.

No, it's not the iPhone, but I still love it. In fact, we purchased our latest phones because we're waiting for the 3G iPhone rumored to be released in the June/July timeframe. They were supposed to be temporary "good enough" phones, but having used my phone for about a month, the next-gen iPhone is going to have to be pretty darn good to make me switch.

Nine Inch Nails releases Halo 27.

Despite widely regarded as obsolete and at best, inaccurate, the waterfall model of software engineering still persists. I believe this is true because the waterfall model is the best for management; the only problem is that it's probably the worst for building useful software.

Just wanted to blog about some things that are on my mind. Nothing profound or insightful here or particularly technical.

I have a desktop application that I've started building out with Delphi and it's going pretty well. I'm 100% confident that I can do everything/anything I need to do with Delphi on Windows. But I've been thinking a lot about going after the Mac market with this product and how to get there. After Ruby Conf, I'm becoming more convinced that Ruby might be the answer for OSX...and Windows.
